[:RU]How to learn to navigate in Tokyo 48 hours[:]

[:RU]When you first came to this delightful country, Japan, and the first to explore the city became Tokyo, then do not expect much on its feet in terms of the vehicle (it is useless, the city is too large), and use the excellent public transport system.

For example, one of the routes of bus companies, I’ll tell you where to go and what to see in the first days of arrival, and most importantly — how to learn to navigate in such giants as Tokyo. This post will also be a small announcement of following records. Go!

As a city, Tokyo is divided into 23 districts as a prefecture — at 62. In Greater Tokyo is home to more than 13 million people, and as a result — in a city of this size is very easy to lose a landmark and difficult to estimate the distance from one point to another. Metro map, at first glance, in matters of orientation helps the weak. Still, the Tokyo subway system — the third largest in the world.

(in Russian)

So I found a hop-on-hop-off service, as in the United Arab Emirates.

Central Sky Hop Bus Stop is located in a very convenient location at the main train station Tokyo Station (exit Marunouchi South Exit), in front of the Marunouchi Mitsubishi Building. There, on the first floor offices.

If in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the 48-hour ticket cost 62 euros, in Tokyo — about 27 (3,500 yen). It is an adequate price for the service provided. By the way, according to my observations, Japan — the best country in terms of service. Such respect, care and kindness to the guests met rarely.

In Tokyo, there is another bus company — HATO BUS. They have yellow buses. HATO BUS have a more traditional format: themed tours, half-day and day. These buses are not used, I can not share the experience.

So, Sky Hop Bus Route 3: blue, green and purple. The average duration of each route takes one hour (if you do not go with the bus). But if you do not rush to land on virtually every stop, easy to get acquainted with the city, then the time will come just for 2 days.

As a result, toured all the places you 48 hours exactly learn to navigate the city, understand how long it takes to move the center, learn where the main subway station visit most major tourist attractions and will be ready by yourself to enjoy the city, looking for secluded corners and interesting place for you.

And the metro scheme will be not so difficult. It’s simple really: each line has a color designation in Latin letters. At each station, in addition to the title, there is a sequence number. E. Even if the wrong platform and uedite in the opposite direction, will be dismantled and the Orient on the very next station.

Machines, too, at first glance, very creepy. But try to understand — it is very easy! The English language is. Buy a prepaid card and is updated daily ride for fun. I had a green SUICA, which you can pay in some stores the station.

Trains run at intervals of 5 minutes, from 5:00 to 24:00. By the way, it is not usual for us: the fare depends on the number of stations. Minimum fare: 160-170 yen

But at 6 am on Sunday in the subway a lot of passengers (however, this does not surprise Muscovites).

Workers train rammed people, unfortunately, are not met.

I’ll be back to the hop-on-hop-off bus.

When you purchase a ticket you get headphones for the audio guide and location map on 3rd routes.

Here they are again:

Some selected stop:

Mitsubishi Building Marunouchi. The building opposite (JP Tower) has a post. You can send a postcard. Near: Station Tokyo — the busiest train station in Japan.

As well as the Imperial Palace and park:

Skytree Tokyo. Outright «MUST visit.» «Tokyo Sky Tree» — the world’s tallest tower, 634 meters.

I do not want to stand in long queues for tickets, use a special stand «only for foreigners.» The tower will be a separate post.

Tower Tokyo. 333-meter tower.

I recommend the late afternoon.

On the way from Tokyo to Fuji Television tower on the green route, the bus rides through the beautiful Rainbow Bridge (Rainbow bridge).

Television Fuji. Next: a large water park Aqua City Odaiba.

Asakusa. Next: Senso-ji (Sens? -ji) — The oldest Buddhist temple on the territory of Tokyo.

The last favorite: Akihabara. Mecca electronics stores, art, anime, gaming machines. One of the largest shopping areas in the world. It is also an absolute «MUST B»!

Other modes of transport in the conclusion:

On the waterbus and cruise ships can take the Asakusa feast at
1 Chome-1-1 Hanakawado Taito, Tokyo 111-0033 Japan, the nearest station is Asakusa.

Taxis are one of the most expensive in the world.

In Tokyo Skytree can find bus amphibious Sky Duck.

You will use the regular bus, buy a ticket for the whole day for 500 yen, which is cheaper.

Rickshaws — another form of transport, tourist attraction.
